About Boracay
Small, beautiful and perfectly formed, Boracay in the Western Visayas, is the most well-known tourist hotspot in the Philippines, an award-winning destination, renowned for its glorious beaches and splendid watersports as well as its laid-back ambiance during the day and upbeat energy after dark.
Just 7 kilometres long and less than a kilometre wide at its narrowest, Boracay exudes a resort-island feel with most of the action focused on the beach. Bars, restaurants, and dive shops line the beaches with the two most well-known sands being west-coast White Beach with tremendous sunset views and Bulabog Beach, a popular spot for watersports, particularly kitesurfing and windsurfing, welcoming the sunrise on the island’s eastern shore. Under the glittering-blue waters are coral reefs, shipwreck dive spots, and incredibly diverse marine life.
In the evenings, live music, fire dancers, and parties on the beach create a magical atmosphere, giving Boracay a hip, chilled-out vibe.
